ModuleThree_1920x692.jpg

Please work through the following to complete the third module of the Membership Process:

  1. Fill out the Reformation Baptist Membership Assessment (Please read below for instructions).

The Elders will use the information you provide to prepare for your membership interview. Do not worry too much about answering everything perfectly or saying everything you could say in response to each question. We are only looking for general answers and will ask clarifying questions in the interview if needed. Filling out the assessment should take around 15-30 minutes.

Once we receive your assessment, an Elder will reach out to set up a time for your interview. In your interview, we will seek to get to know you, answer any additional questions you might have, and ask three questions:

  1. What is your testimony?

  2. What is the Gospel?

  3. Were you baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by a gospel-preaching church?

Also, during your interview we will help you get plugged into one of our Serve Teams before you commit the Membership Covenant because one of our membership commitments is to help support the preaching of the Word during our Sunday services. You can sign up before your interview through the Reformation Baptist Church App or online, but please come prepared to join one of our Serve Teams if you have not already done so at your interview. Serving with one of our Serve Teams is not just something we do, but it is a tangible way all of us support the proclamation of the gospel each and every Sunday.

If you have not yet been baptized

All Members of Reformation Baptist Church must be baptized, and if you have not yet been baptized in obedience to Christ, we would love to walk through that process with you. Please let us know in your interview, or fill out this form.

Please note: If you have any questions at all, please contact the Elder walking with you through this process.

Interested in growing as a Member?

Please consider the following resources. Note: these are NOT REQUIRED in order to become a Member, but we hope that they would be helpful for your discipleship.

  1. Everyday Discipleship is our podcast where we talk about practical aspects of what it means to be a Christian in a variety of areas in our Christian walk. Below are two episodes that are directly tied to having healthy church membership.

  2. Duties of Christian Fellowship is a video series where we dig into what it practically looks like to be a fully functioning member of a church.
