We are a group of people who seek to be shaped by the gospel and live out the mission of God together as a family through tangible acts of service and sharing the gospel with others.

We have a deep love and respect for theologically-rich hymns, which we play in a post-folk/rock style. It is our goal through music to narrow our sights on Jesus and to give Him glory as one voice singing to Him.

The Bible is central to everything we do in worship. We typically work through books of the Bible and mix in occasional topical studies.

Why The Metro?

love jesus. love others. no bull.

At Metro Church, we desire to be a people focused on simply loving Jesus and loving others.
We do this through:

  • Preaching and teaching that pursues the deep truths revealed in scripture
  • Singing our lungs out to God in worship
  • Supporting each other in weekly community groups
  • Loving on our unbelieving neighbors, family, friends and co-workers
We don’t claim to have it all figured out, but our hope is that by focusing on "the great commandment" of loving Jesus and loving others we'll avoid secondary issues that derail the mission, cause pain and make Jesus look bad to a world that so desperately needs Him.
